About sodium hydroxide (lye): All true soap is made when a chemical reaction occurs (saponification) between sodium hydroxide and the oils/butters being mixed together. This process is complete after about 48 hours, at which point, no sodium hydroxide remains in the soap. Even though sodium hydroxide is not in the end product, it is listed, as it is used to make the soap.

Still the BEST!

I have super sensitive skin and have dealt with KP (Keratosis Pilaris) on my arms and legs all my life. Nothing has helped until this soap! I use it daily and my KP has diminished by approximately 90% if not more! I also moisturize with Plume products daily and I think the combination is a win for my skin for sure!
